ABOUT JEFF

Jeffrey Penn Johnson is a composer and organist living in the desert of Southern California. He has composed and orchestrated music for shows produced by DreamWorks, Cartoon Network, Disney, and Universal, as well as documentaries and short films. Raised in South Carolina near the Appalachian mountains, Jeff’s unique style draws upon his time spent in the wild as a hiker, rock climber, and kayaker. His music bends genres and is both dark and hopeful. As an organist, pianist, and euphonium player, his music draws upon influences from all over the world to create a sonic world that is unique, soothing, and wild.
